March 21, 2009  Washington, DC March on the Pentagon!

Information for people taking the bus from Albany's Eagle Street Garage (East Garage).

Link to the map of location of East Garage( also known as Eagle Street Garage) where we can park for free in Albany and where the bus will pick us up!

  • Bus ticket will be $55.  There will be partial scholarships available.  Information: Joe Lombardo at 439-1968.       Checks made out to "BNP",  can be sent to, BNP, PO Box 473, Delmar, NY 12054 (please include  name, phone and e-mail address with check).  Albany Bus is full. Call Joe for availability of other buses.  

  • Please be at the Eagle Street Garage location at 11:30 PM. We plan to leave Albany by 12, Midnight. If you are not there by 11:45, we may give your seat to someone else. 
  • Tickets have not been provided. We have your name on our registration list.

  • Arrival in DC: Bus drop off will be on 21st St. north of Constitution Ave., right across the street from the opening rally site.
  • Rally:  Assemble by 12 noon at 23rd and Constitution Ave. NW. The march to the Pentagon and the Corporate War Profiteers will depart from this location. 
  • March:  The march will cross Arlington Memorial Bridge, go along Route 27 / Washington Blvd. to the Pentagon. 
  • DEPARTURE from DC:  Buses will pick up passengers on Crystal Dr. between 23rd St. and 26th St. after the march ends; this is just a few blocks from the bus parking. We will be leaving  Washington DC,  no later than 5:45 PM.
  • Bring the usual stuff that we all need for a day of marching and protesting in DC on the first day of spring/ or what may be more like the last day of winter: water, food, comfortable shoes or boots, warm socks,gloves, a hat, other clothing to suit the weather.  $ for the stop for food on the way back to Albany on Saturday evening.
